Our TTC Timeline

TTC = Trying to Conceive

April 14, 2007 - We got married!! After 5 years of dating through high school and college, this was a very long awaited, special, and exciting day, one of the best!

January 2011 - Desired to start having kids and began trying on our own. However, I had absolutely no cycles -- none, zero, zippo. I didn't know much about becoming pregnant at that time but I did know something wasn't right. So we went straight to my regular OBGYN for help!

TTC Baby #1
April 2011 - Clomid Cycle #1 - unsuccessful

May 2011 - Clomid Cycle #2 - unsuccessful

June 2011 - Clomid Cylce #3 - unsuccessful and referred to an Reproductive Endocrinologist (RE or infertility specialist)

August 2011 - Diagnosed with PCOS

September 2011 - IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) #1 - unsuccessful

November 2011 - IUI #2 - unsuccessful

January 2012 - IVF -- 18 eggs retrieved, 17 eggs fertilized, 15 embryos, 13 frozen embryos

February 6, 2012 - Fresh Embryo Transfer - POSITIVE!! Healthy baby boy!

October 4, 2012 - Welcomed our precious miracle!!

TTC Baby #2 - Our thoughts: "IVF worked like a charm. We have this thing figured out. Plenty of frozen embryos. This is easy now. Just pick a date, go see the doctor, transfer embryos, and BAM we can add to our family." Wow, were we wrong! God shows us once again, He has already written our story we need only to trust in His perfect plan.

April 1, 2014 - Frozen Transfer #1 - POSITIVE!! But we soon discovered it was an ectopic pregnancy. Our pregnancy painfully ended at 6 weeks.
August 29, 2014 - Frozen Transfer #2 - POSITIVE!! Everything pointed to a healthy pregnancy. Even got to see one ultra sound of our babies, yes twins! But ended in a heart wrenching miscarriage at 7 weeks.
We also moved right after the transfer!

Stay tuned...our journey continues!

For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.
